The 4-way Test of

the things we think,

say or do:

• Is it the truth?

• Is it fair to all concerned?

•Will it build good-will and better friendships?

• Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

...and Will it be FUN???

Chartered on January 19, 1962, the Rotary Club of Nassau, or the City Club, as it used to be called, was the first Rotary Club in The Bahamas. In 2012, we celebrated our 50th Anniversary, along with the other seven (NOW NINE) clubs in this island nation.

We meet every Tuesday lunchtime (see details on left) and have become a popular 'make-up' visit for both local and international Rotarians, who enjoy the fellowship, food and the waterfront location. You can also join us virtually via our Zoom connection. Please email us for the connection information.

Over the years, we have helped many communities both in The Bahamas and abroad. Currently, our 'signature' project is youth and in particular, the Stephen Dillett Primary School, which we have adopted. We also help with food for disadvantage families, the aged and children, particularly at Christmas time.

We have a good mix of backgrounds, from banking to sign making and an almost 50-50 ratio of male/female members.

If you are a Rotarian, visiting The Bahamas, we invite you to join us at one of our meetings - tell us about your home town and your Rotary club and its projects. We are part of Rotary District 7020 and Zone 34.

We are working hard to follow the precepts of Rotary.
